DEPARTÁMENT's activities touched upon the largest air show in Russia and Eastern Europe - the MAKS Salon, which has been held since 1993. Especially for the Audi brand, which became a partner of this year's festival, we came up with and realized an impressive architectural project. 

"Looking for a metaphor between the supercharged cars SQ5, R8, RS5 Coupé and sky conquerors, we juxtaposed them in three large-scale installations, showing that the new Audi sports cars and airplanes are the fastest and most beautiful means of transportation in the world" - Peter Ivanov, creative director of DEPARTÁMENT.

It took almost a month for the designs and drawings to turn into reality on the territory of Zhukovsky near Moscow. The futuristic and very graphic objects attracted the attention of MAKS-2017 visitors (about 500 thousand people came to see the achievements in the aviation industry) as much as the festival program itself.

The event also featured a race of fighter jets and sports cars, and 30 parachutists cosplayed the brand's legendary rings in a spectacular aerial show. We are preparing a video proof of these wonderful deeds: there will be both a report and a video case. In short, we are racing at super speed together with the client, ready for NEW&WOW every time.
