PRESENTATION OF THE NEW HOUSE "BREATH"
PRESENTATION OF THE FIRST HOUSE BY PHILIPPE STARCK IN MOSCOW

"I like to open the doors to people's brains," says French design genius Philippe Starck, and we readily subscribe. We would only add that we also like to open people's eyes wider to the surrounding beauty, to surprise and capture their imagination. That is why our presentation of the first architectural project in Moscow by the world-famous design bureau YOO Studio and under the creative supervision of Stark is not a presentation in its classical sense. But a bright theatrical experiment called "Hold Your Breath".

"Four rooms - four styles. And in each one a different chamber story is played out: modern ballet, opera show, acrobatic performance and even a poetic mono-performance."

ArchiPeople.ru:
We called the Golden Mask winner, director Philipp Grigoryan, to command the stage parade. Together we devised and built a real labyrinth. At Stark's behest, all 406 flats of the Breath building are divided into four directions: Culture, Nature, Classic and Minimal. Our "four rooms" followed the author's idea, but were played out in four different forms of stage art.

The guests got into the labyrinth through a portal with the inscription "Breath", because nobody could use more air in their lungs for the next half an hour. Passing from one improvised room to another, one could be a witness of a dinner in the looking-glass, where actor Evgeny Tsyganov read Brodsky, or a listener of opera classics, or a spectator of a minimalist etude by ballet dancers. Behind the door with the sign "EXIT", the guests were waiting for another pleasant surprise - a concert by electronic musicians Tesla Boy.

"All of Moscow was in Romanovy Dvor that evening," writes ArchiPeople.ru, and it does not embellish in any way. Among the star guests at our premiere were Svetlana Bondarchuk, Igor Chapurin, Tanya Gevorkyan, Natalia Sindeeva, Nikolai Uskov, Yulia Baranovskaya, Pelageya, Teona Dolnikova, Artem Korolev, Anton Belov, Lyubov Zaitseva, Olga Ushakova, Ekaterina Dobryakova, Dmitry Loginov, Lidia Leoniuk, Eva Vostroknutova, Maria Minogarova, Ekaterina Kabak, Natalia Turovnikova, Egor Koreshkov, Irina Chaikovskaya, Mari Koberidze.
