The ampersand - & became the symbol of the united company. For the new old friends from Afisha-Rambler-SUP, DEPARTÁMENT agency organised and held a long-awaited presentation of the common brand Rambler&Co, corporate identity and corporate website. A new common brand and a new platform had to be thought about after the merger of the largest media companies Afisha-Rambler and SUP Media. DEPARTÁMENT's friends from the branding agency ONY, which specialises in digital communications.
The main character of the presentation could well be called the ampersand - & - an excellent symbol of unification. It was the expression of the new company's individuality. DEPARTÁMENT came up with several original ampersand installations especially for the event. The result of DEPARTÁMENT's creative efforts were three sculptures created in different aesthetics. Each one symbolised the direction and theme of the resources of the united company Rambler&Co. The mirrored ampersand reflects reality in the same way as Lenta.ru and Gazeta.ru news publications do. The green, "grass" ampersand, resembling the lawn of a football or tennis ground, refers to the sports resource Championship.com. The neon ampersand is the embodiment of Lifestyle, a symbol of entertainment and nightlife, i.e. everything that Afisha knows best.
According to the main speaker of the presentation, one of the creators of the new Rambler&Co platform, Pyotr Zakharov, its concept should show all the diversity and uniqueness of each of the united company's projects. He also believes that the character and uniqueness of the company should be reflected in emotional images. This was also reflected in the design of the new Rambler&Co. website. This was also the starting point for the DEPARTÁMENT agency in organising the presentation. To maintain the right emotional level, DEPARTÁMENT invited DJ and sound design master Olya Maximova.
